There are standard speed limits in Austria (unless otherwise stated by traffic signs).

Speed limits for motorcycles and passenger cars (up to 3,5 t):

in populated areas	50 km/h
outside populated areas	100 km/h
on a highway	130 km/h

Speed limits vehicles (up to 3,5 t) with trailers (up to 750 kg):

in populated areas	50 km/h
outside populated areas	100 km/h
on a highway	100 km/h

Speed limits vehicles (up to 3,5 t) with trailers (from 750 kg to 3,5 t):

in populated areas	50 km/h
outside populated areas	80 km/h
on a highway	80 km/h

Speed limits for heavy goods vehicles (over 3,5t):

in populated areas	50 km/h
outside populated areas	70 km/h
on a highway	80 km/h

Speed limits for busses:

in populated areas	50 km/h
outside populated areas	80 km/h
on a highway	100 km/h

The minimum allowed speed of movement on highway is 60 km/h.

The speed limits, for vehicle equipped with studded tires, is 100 km/h on highway and up to 80 km/h on roads outside populated areas.
