This policy explains what data we collect when you visit www.shofior.com and the blog at wordpress.shofior.com, how we use it, and what your rights are. The policy for our mobile apps is here.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is ENBC Ltd., UIC (EIK) 201735439, registered at 1003, Sofia, Ivan Vazov. For privacy questions, email office@shofior.com.
Shofior.com is an independent information site. We are not affiliated with the Ministry of Interior, the traffic police (KAT) or the Road Transport Administration Executive Agency.
2. What data we collect
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. These are recorded automatically in server logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: to run the site, for statistics and to show ads (see sections 3 and 4).
- Data you send us: your email address if you subscribe to the blog, the content of messages you send us, and reports of errors in exam questions.
You don’t need an account to practise the exam tests. Your progress is stored only in your browser.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense)
The site is funded by ads served through Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of other vendors’ cookies at youronlinechoices.eu.

For visitors in the EU, personalised ads are shown only after you consent through the cookie banner. If you don’t consent, you may see non-personalised ads.
4. Statistics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and how to improve the site. The data is aggregated and does not let us identify you. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the site’s cookie banner. If you delete shofior.com’s cookies in your browser, the banner will appear again and you can make a new choice. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
6. Legal basis
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): for advertising and statistics cookies and for the blog subscription.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): for site security and operation, and for replying to your enquiries.
7. Who we share data with
- Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC (advertising and statistics)
- Public authorities, only where required by law
We do not sell personal data.
8. Transfers outside the EU
Google may process data in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
9. How long we keep data
- Server logs: up to 90 days
- Subscription email: until you unsubscribe
- Correspondence: up to 2 years after the last message
- Cookies: for each cookie’s own lifetime, at most 13 months
10. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time. This does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.

11. Children
The site is not aimed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will post a visible notice on the site.
