COVID-19 how to travel in Estonia Естония

As of 15 January, persons arriving in Estonia (including Estonian citizens and residents), as well as those arriving from European countries with a cumulative number of positive virus tests over 150 per 100,000 inhabitants for the last 14 days, must undergo self-isolation. Arriving from countries where the infection rate is below 150 / 100,000, there is no obligation for self-isolation.

In order to faster crossing the Estonian border, passengers can fill in an e-health declaration in advance no later than 24 hours before arrival in the country. The confirmation received at the specified e-mail is presented at the border checkpoint upon entry.

Quarantined persons wishing to reduce the 10-day isolation upon arrival in Estonia must take a second test in Estonia no earlier than the sixth day of the first test carried out abroad. The reduction of the 10-day self-isolation is only if the results of both tests are negative.

Children under the age of 12 are exempt from the obligation to test.
